Roy Ashbrook has published his list of "Top 20 .NET Garbage Collection Articles", most of which are worth a read.
The gist is that just because .NET developers work in a managed memory world, that doesn't mean that we don't need to know how that memory is being managed.
The articles in the list by Maoni and Richter ought to be required reading! :)
